This is a family inn, which has been operating for three generations of the family Firšt. We are located by the main road between Solčava and Logarska valley.

We can offer you typical home-made Slovene dishes, made-to-order dishes and fresh trout. Guests are accommodated in comfortable guest rooms. Breakfast comes as standard but full board or half board accommodation is only available if you stay for longer than 3 days.

Our restaurant is best known for the fresh trout, which we breed in a stream nearby. We prepare it in many ways, but our house speciality is trout Mici. We also prepare a delicious fish beefsteak, with the boss’s very own recipe!

For those who like dry meat, they must try our Zgornje-Savinjski želodec (slices of large pork sausage), beef and game salami, dry pork joint, dry pork neck and bacon. The autumn and winter seasons are great for pork and sausages. At that time we can offer you delicious grilled or Carniola sausages, black pudding, mavžlje, godlja, meat cracklings and much more.

We have numerous ways to prepare our steaks. There is also stag meat and as a speciality, we have stag steak po olševsko.

Everything is genuinely home-made: Solčava sirnek, masovnik and obrnek. Of course there are many well-known Slovene dishes such as corn and buckwead zhgantsi, all types of štruklji, žlikrofi and štrudel, which are prepared by our grandmother Mici.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, we have all types of dumplings, zlikrofi, pancakes, fruit deserts, ice-cream and also strudel at the weekends.

To accompany your meal, you can try our collection of Slovene wine.
