This hotel is situated in the heart of the Liébana valley, at the foot of the mountains "Picos de Europa" and bordering Asturias, León and Palencia.

The architecture of the two buildings is very respectful of the mountainous setting, with the windows and balconies crafted from wood and ashlar. The rooms are spacious and tranquil and designed to be very comfortable. There is a large terrace with views of the river and the town church as well as a garden, outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

The establishment has a great family tradition and is the ideal place to enjoy its natural environment and excellent regional cuisine. It is also the perfect place to hold a business meeting.

The region of Liébana is located at the border with Asturias, León and Palencia. The Cantabrian Mountain range and the Picos de Europa are located here, peaks with an altitude of more than 2000 metres. You can reach the summit of Mirador del Cable (1874 metres) by the Fuente Dé cable car, located 9 km from the hotel. The hotel is also near the Santo Toribia de Liébana monastry. As guardian of the religious relic known as the "Lignun Crucis", part of Christ's crucifix, it has been a place of pilgrimage since the 16th century, a privilege it shares with Rome, Jerusalem, Santiago de Compostela and Caravaca de la Cruz the privilege of celebrating a Pilgrimage Jubilee Year. Fourteen kilometres from the hotel is the town of Potes, the capital of Liebana. It has a substantial old quarter with large houses many of which feature coats of arms. There are also numerous bridges and monuments here, foremost of which is the Torre del Infantado.
