By Train: The Douro railway follows the vineyards as far as Ferrão station. The hotel can arrange a transfer from here. By Boat: You may prefer the calmer effect of a boat trip and close contact with the waters of the river Douro. The hotel can arrange a transfer from the port. By Plane/Helicopter: If you would prefer a short flight, there is a regular service from the Vila Real aerodrome. The estate will also arrange a helicopter for you. By Car: - Leave the A4 for Vila Real and continue in the direction of Mateus, followed by Sabrosa, as far as S. Martinho da Anta. - From there take the road to Covas do Douro. Coming from Régua: - Go to Pinhão and from there take the road to Covas do Douro and then to Ferrão.
