Located on one of the most beautiful coasts in the north-east of Madeira, this hotel is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of the sea and the volcanic mountains.

Costa Linda is located on the seafront side of the village of Porto da Cruz, where you can enjoy a public swimming pool of sea water, located in the bay about to 30 meters from the hotel. If you prefer a beach, there is one approximately 100 metres away. This is one of the few sand beaches on the island and is considered by many as one of the best beaches for the practice of surfing.

At Costa Linda, you can rest and enjoy both the sea and the mountains from the balcony of your room. If you prefer you can also sit down and chat or read in our common living room with a fabulous view overlooking the sea.

Costa Linda was built in the ruins of an ancient sugar cane mill. The land that was once used for sugar cane is now used for vineyards.

At the hotel you can see some photos of wine and vine, because Porto da Cruz is a region where several varieties of grapes are grown,

The walls of the restaurant are the original walls of the old mill. Its inner surface is paved with traditional Portuguese pave, and the pavement on the outside by the sea is paved with Madeira's traditional pave.

The restaurant, Praça do Engenho, has capacity for more than 150 people. It offers an extensive menu based on traditional Madeira menus that allows you to taste a wide variety of dishes of meat and fresh fish. On a fine day you can dine on the terrace while taking in the sea views.

From the Airport: By Car: - Take the main road towards Airport-Machico. - When you reach Machico, continue until Porto da Cruz, following the road signs. - Once you exit the main road and after passing the roundabout, the road begins to descend until the village of Porto da Cruz. - You will find Costa Linda located next to a viewpoint that is beside the church.
