This centrally located 4-star guest house has been managed as a family business for decades.

All rooms, which are located between the ground floor and the third floor in an ancient Viennese apartment house (with historic elevator), include every expected comfort.

The majority of our rooms are furnished in traditional Viennese style, with chandeliers, carpet and partly with wooden floor. One floor was recently completely renovated - these non-smoking rooms facing the courtyard are equipped in modern style with wooden floor and flatscreen TV.

Not only the central location of our bed and breakfast is much appreciated by our guests, but also the personal atmosphere and the discreet service of our staff, which is always helpful in making reservations for concerts and sightseeing tours, and in providing touristic information about Vienna.

There is no restaurant or bar at the Baronesse in order to protect the privacy and relaxation of the guests.

The hotel is not accessible for disabled people.

Pension Baronesse, Vienna - Important Information

The whole city centre is a limited parking area, liable to charges. In the 8th district, where our house is located, you are only allowed to park the car for 2 hours. Limited parking is Monday till Friday, 09:00 to 22:00. The hotel offers guests reduced parking tickets for the public garage Otto-Wagner-Platz (approximately 5 minutes walk from the Pension). You can enter the garage when you arrive and pull a parking ticket. At the reception you will receive a hotel parking card. At your departure the fee of the pulled parking ticket will be charged on the hotel parking card and then you are able to leave the garage. If you should exceed the validity of the card, you have to pay the balance directly at the garage.

from Airport Bus (Vienna Airport Lines): This shuttle service has 3 stops in Vienna. The station you need is Westbahnhof (Western Train Station). You'll see a subway station and several tram stations across the main entrance of the train station. Behind the entrance building to the subway there is a tram station. There you take tram number 5 (direction Praterstern) and get off at the stop "Lange Gasse". Go to the end of the tram cross the street and there you'll see our Pension Baronesse. Rapid-transit railway (Schnellbahn): In the airport building is a rapid-transit railway station. The S7 brings you to the station "Praterstern-Wien Nord". There you get on tram number 5 (going to Westbahhof) and get off at the stop "Lange Gasse". Stay on the street you are on, cross at the intersection and keep on going straight. Our house is situated in the first block after the intersection. from Südbahnhof Bus: Use the exit on the right side. Cross the street and the tram rails, then you come to the last stop of bus 13A. With this bus you go to the other last stop "Alser Straße - Skodagasse". Then you follow Alser Strasse (downhill) into town until Lange Gasse (on the right side there is a bank called "Die Erste"). Turn right and immediately in the first block on the right side you will find Pension Baronesse. Tram: Use the exit on the right. There you will see a stop for tram D. You have to cross the first platform and go to the second. There you get on the tram (direction Nußdorf) and go to stop "Schottentor - Universität". Here you change into tram lines 43 or 44 (both is possible). This station is on the other side of the "Ring Road". You can cross that street either below (this way also leads to a subway) or above. With one of these trams go 2 stations to "Lange Gasse" and turn left. In the first block on the right side you will find Pension Baronesse. from Westbahnhof Tram: You leave the train station at the main exit. You'll see a subway station and several tram stations across the street. Behind the entrance building to the subway there is a tram station. There you take tram number 5 (direction Praterstern) and get off at the stop "Lange Gasse". Go to the end of the tram cross the street and there you'll see our Pension Baronesse.
