Quartier24, Wien - Hotel Description

The Quartier24 is situated in one of Vienna's most popular districts (Hietzing), close to the Schönbrunn Palace - ideally located within easy reach of many of the city’s main attractions.

The palace grounds of Schönbrunn, the Lainz Game Preserve and the Vienna Woods invite to extended walks or other sports and recreational activities. The convention centre, the main train stations, the airport and all major motorway connections are easily accessible. The nearby stops (tram, bus, commuter rail and night bus) let you easily reach all the city's attractions as well as the city centre.

Opened in May 2008, the Quartier24 boasts 28 apartments, each one equipped with its own state-of-the-art amenities, including Wi-Fi access. Furthermore, they feature a kitchenette, private bathroom and ample storage space.

For your relaxation, the residence provides two roof-top terraces, complete with deck chairs. When the weather is a little cooler, you can unwind with a drink in the lobby, or check the info point for useful tourist tips and city maps.

A washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as ironing facilities are offered in our laundry.

Each of the 28 rooms has modern amenities such as free wireless access, a fully equipped kitchenette and generously sized storage space. The bathrooms are equipped with shower, toilet and hair dryer. Two different types of rooms are offered: SMART rooms (33 m²) and STUDIO rooms (43 m² - separate bedroom featured).

Quartier24, Wien - Restaurants and Bars

Hietzing (13th district) has many well-known restaurants and coffee houses. Have lunch at the Brandauer Schlossbräu, which is located right in the old center of Hitzing, or enjoy dinner at the restaurant Reigen, which is located right opposite the underground stop U4 Hietzing.

Quartier24, Wien - Area Information

Hietzing (13th district) was home to many famous and important people, such as Johann Strauss, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele. It also offers a lot of sights: Schönbrunn Palace (the former summer residence of the Imperial Family and UNESCO World Heritage site); the Lainzer Zoo; and buildings designed by Otto Wagner and Adolf Loos.

It is only a short walk to “Maxingstraße 18”, where Johann Strauss once lived. It was in this house that he composed many of his famous works, for example the “Fledermaus”.

Not far away, you can see the church of Maria Hietzing, which is certainly worth a visit. One of the oldest streets in Hietzing is Altgasse, well-known for its many antique and handicraft shops.
