With a long history in the city, the hotel has been completely refurbished in 2007/08 to form a modern apartment hotel, with 14 fully-equipped holiday homes within a historic building. Close to the centre of Salzburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the hotel also enjoys direct access to the city's public transport and features a car park for guests.

By train: Several bus lines connect Salzburg's main train station with the hotel (approx. 7 km, 20 - 25 minutes). By plane: From Salzburg Airport, it is a 12-minute drive (approx. 10 km) via the A1 motorway (exit Salzburg Nord, direction Zentrum). Alternatively, use bus lines 2 or 20 (approx. 15 km, 45 - 50 minutes).
