Located on the banks of the Alster lake in the lively St. Georg district, this hotel features a New-British style and is Hamburg's only 4-star design hotel.

The comfortable rooms of the George Hamburg are between 21 m² and 41m² in size. They are decorated in warm colours, and feature fine carpets and furnishings.

Guests are welcome to relax in the library and the English garden. An exclusive private dining room is also available.

On the 6th floor you will find the attractive, Marrakech-style spa facilities, while the roof terrace on the 7th floor provides a wonderful view over the Alster.

A bus stop is located right outside the hotel, which takes you to the city centre in less than 5 minutes. Alternatively, enjoy the scenic 15-minute walk.

The George has a modern, elegant and exclusive feel, blended with a dash of creativity and a cheerful design.

In terms of colour, most of the hotel is decorated in a spectrum of colours between black and white. Fresh patterns and colours interrupt the classic interior, rounding off the entire ambience. Cacao-coloured floorboards, modern versions of Chesterfield furniture, plush carpets and plissé fabrics complete the classic design.

The hotel features a bright design due to an abundance of glass and the clever use of light. The house is appointed with hand-woven fabrics, high-quality carpet and select items of furniture.

Guests can also arrange to use the spacious club rooms with state-of-the-art technology for a whole host of events.
