The Hacienda San Ignacio, located in Castilleja de la Cuesta, originally dates from the 16th century and is built in a typically rustic, Andalusian style. It features courtyards, colourful tiles, mosaics and peaceful shaded gardens where you can relax away from the warm Spanish sun. There is also a restaurant set in the property's old olive mill, where you can learn to cut a decent slice of cured ham, and the barbecue is available during the summer months.

The surrounding town of Aljarafe is famous as being the place where the legendary Hernán Cortés died. It lies just a few kilometres from the impressive historic sights of ancient Seville, as well as the city's history-inspired theme park, Isla Mágica.
