With a great location for exploring north Iceland's wonders, this newly built, modern hotel offers a range of comfortable, clean accommodation to suit the needs and budget of any traveller.

Rooms with en suite bathroom facilities are available, as are rooms with a washbasin and shared bathroom facilities.

The hotel is a great base from which to enjoy north Iceland's waterfalls, whales and woodlands. Dettifoss is the most powerful waterfall in Europe and is situated on the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river, which flows from the Vatnajökull glacier. The falls are 100 metres wide and have a drop of 44 metres down to the Jökulsárgljúfur canyon. The small nearby town of Husavik offers whale-watching cruises and Lake Myvatn has unique birdlife, magnificent fjords and volcanic craters. Then there is also the enchanting Vaglaskogur woods and Asbyrgi, a rocky, horseshoe-shaped canyon that is the legendary home of Viking gods.
