In a quaint seaside setting with impressive views of the fjord and mountains, is Hotel Framnes, built on the site of an old fishermen's hut.

Hotel Framnes has a fully-licensed restaurant and bar. The cosy dining room seats up to 60 and serves home baked bread, fresh seafood delicacies and Icelandic lamb dishes as well as succulent desserts. Vegetarians are also catered for.

Room sizes range from single to family rooms for 4 persons. West facing rooms have a view of the beautiful mountains embracing the village and those facing east have a view of the sea.

For relaxation guests can make the use of the sauna, hot tub and massage chair. Guests can also take part in exclusive boat trips to nearby Melrakkaey Island to spot the much sought-after puffins, or do a bit of fishing.

• Extra Charges: 7 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 17.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
