  It's quiet and stylish. But its out of the way with nothing much around, and no evening restaurant.

  This was my second stay in this hotel within three weeks. So my opinion hasn't changed much compared to my recent review: all in all this is a very nice hotel and I just like its "motel style". In my last posting I wrote about problems with the water system and the slow internet connection. This time, all water issues were fixed: everything worked well.

  The WiFi connection was somewhat faster now, but still far from usable.

  The hotel seemed to be very new (as of 2011) and is built like typical american motels. You can back up your car right in front of the door so you don't have to carry your luggage across an endless floor. Very quiet location and soundproof rooms.

  If you aren't travelling motorized, the hotel's probably out ouf reach. The first evening the water system at the hotel had some issues: there wasn't any water in the bathrooms. A couple of hours later the problem was fixed. Further, the WiFi connection is everything but "high speed" as promised. It was nearly unusable in our rooms (however, internet access was possible on the machines in the lobby).

  Clean room, quiet soroundings, excellent breakfast.

  The restaurant was pretty far away. The staff cleans the room when we take the breakfast, so we have to wait 30 minutes to finnish the room.

  Normal place for one night stop when you travel by car from Italy to Switzerland. Nothing more. Not bad grill restaurant is near by the hotel

  It was clean.

  Reception staff very unhelpful. Bad location - location was misleading on booking.com No facilities. Should be stipulated that this hotel is geared towards the business traveller.

  Clean and comfortable rooms

  This hotel offers very good service, combined with excellent rooms, free wifi internet service at very good prices. We stopped over for one night during our return trip, by car, from Sicily and had a brief but very pleasant stay. Very good value for money and a good and varied breakfast buffet.

  Modern Hotel styled luxury American Motel. Rooms are wide and clean.Excellent for visiting the surroundings (lakes and Switzerland).Quality breakfast in the morning with wide offer of items.

  Hotel located in the countryside near the Varese lake and city but you can't take a walk in the surroundings because there is no sidewalk on the public way. No chairs or deckchairs in the garden.

  Stylish, designer hotel. Excellent wifi facilities. Decent breakfast included in the room price. Friendly, helpful staff who spoke also English. Quiet location, yet near to Varese and access to A26 and A7. Lake Varese nearby. Due to short stay did not have time to investigate more. Excellent , effort with online directions, which did not match the real situations.

  Despite detailed online directions, very difficult to find due to poor signage in town and surrounding areas. Key signs often hidden behind bushes, imagine impossible to find during evening. We arrived in daylight, in the afternoon and approached from the North (Switzerland) but after several efforts, ended up in driving in to Capolago from the South, which was much easier. Lack of any food, or restaurant facilities (except breakfast) - inhouse or instructions where to find choice of local restaurants was a major minus. Lack of any written materials about hotel facilities, local attractions and food in hotel rooms, was disappointing. Should be fairly easy to arrange. We left hungry - in Italy!

  The acceptance of pets. The kindness of the hotel staff. The breakfast buffet.

  In the heat spell we experienced neither the air-conditioning nor the ventilation was operating. The amount (10 €) charged for the pet should be indicated on the reservation form.
