Opened in May 2008, the ad vineas Gästehaus Nikolaihof is a newly built guesthouse in the typical “Wachau” style, not far away from the famous Nikolaihof Wachau wine-growing estate.

Located in Mautern on the southern bank of the Danube, only 5 km from Krems, the hotel offers very spacious, classically equipped rooms in the middle of the vineyards, with breathtaking views over the beautiful Wachau valley and Göttweig Abbey. The surrounding garden features a children’s playground and a sunbathing area under the shade of apricot trees. The rich buffet breakfast offers regional organic specialities.

Our friendly, spacious rooms are equipped with classical, bright furniture made from local beech wood. The warm colours of the terracotta floors, carpets, curtains and walls radiate cosiness and elegance. The bathrooms are open and integrated into the room, and there are separate toilets.
