The Hotel Adler Post dates back to the year 1725, when it opened as a restaurant. The Adler Post first became a hotel in 1870 and has provided rooms until this day. The same family have been in charge of the establishment for the past 165 years.

Exit the A5 motorway (Frankfurt-Karlsruhe-Basel) at Heidelberg/Schwetzingen. Alternatively, if you are travelling on the A61 motorway (Cologne-Koblenz), change onto the A6 motorway at the Hockenheim motorway triangle. Exit the A6 at Schwetzingen. Continue in the direction of the palace, or follow the hotel route.
