TRANSPORT By air: International Airport of Marrakech - Menara (6 km of the city centre). Daily connections with Casablanca and all main European cities. Regular flights to other cities in Morocco. By bus : Bus station of Bab Doukala: Tel. 024 43 39 33 Bus station of Guéliz, Zerktouni Avenue: Tel. 024 44 83 28 The bus is the ideal means of transport to visit the countryside. Many connections to all major towns, the coaches come with A/C (CTM) By train: ONCF Station, Hassan II Avenue. Tel. 024 44 77 68 Tel. 024 43 77 03 Daily several trains leave for Casablanca, Rabat, Tanger, Meknes and Fes. From Marrakech to Tangier the drive takes an approximate 9 hours. Trains are punctual and come with 1st or 2nd class. You can order drinks or snacks on board. By car: From Spain crossing the Gibraltar straight takes from 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending whether you embark in the port of Algeciras or the port of Tarifa. Bringing your car with you does not come with any problem. However, drivers need to bring their grey card, the green card of international insurance, as well as an international drivers licence.
