By car: If approaching from the A5 Karlsruhe - Basel motorway, take the exit Freiburg-Mitte. In Freiburg take route B31, direction Donaueschingen, for 25 kilometres and then take the exit for Hinterzarten. If approaching from the A81 Stuttgart - Singen motorway, take the exit Donaueschingen/Freiburg. Take route B31, direction Freiburg/Titisee for 30 kilometres and then take the exit for Hinterzarten. If approaching from Zürich on route B500 to Waldshut carry on in direction Schluchsee until Bärental. In Bärental take route B317, direction Titisee which continues onto route B31, direction Freiburg. After 5 kilometres take the exit for Hinterzarten. By train: Take the IC or EC regional trains to Freiburg. Change in Freiburg onto the famous Höllentalbahn train which runs to Hinterzarten every 30 minutes. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station.
