The Colonial Terrace - Hotel Description

One of Carmel's original hotel accommodations, The Colonial Terrace sought out the peace and tranquility of the village neighborhood when it was built in 1925.

Located just one block from a breathtaking white sand beach, The Colonial Terrace is a short walk to the quaint European style village offering romance, gourmet dining, shopping, spas, art galleries and fun.

The Colonial Terrace - Restaurants and Bars

An expanded continental breakfast including fresh-baked pastries and croissants, bagels, granola, quiche, and fresh fruits and juices are served each morning. The breakfast is available from 7:30am to 10:00am each morning in the lounge. Guests may also choose to enjoy their breakfast outside among the terraced gardens or in the comfort of their room.

• Deposit: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
• Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed.
• Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.
• Extra Charges: 10 % Tax is not included. Service charge is not applicable. USD 0.50 city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges. Please note: Reservations for more than 7 nights in length require 14 days advance notice to receive a refund of the advance deposit. There is a fee of USD 100 per night to reduce the length of stay within 7 days of arrival or upon check-in.
