Made up of 3 interlinked hotels, the Mare Nostrum resort is the perfect setting for a sun-filled break in Playa de las Américas. It is set right beside the golden sandy beach of Playa del Camisón, in the south of this tropical island.

The complex is built around an impressive outdoor swimming pool. This is surrounded by a huge sun terrace filled with Roman statues and marble columns, following the resort's Roman theme.

Take a trip out on the property's own catamaran, the Lady Shelley, to see whales and dolphins in their natural habitat of the Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel is made up of 3 different buildings: the Julio Cesar Palace, Cleopatra Palace and the Marco Antonio Palace. On your arrival at any of the buildings you will be greeted with a welcome glass of cava.

The Spa Mare Nostrum specialises in thalassotherapy treatments, allowing you to relax that bit more during your stay. Facilities include a water park and a wide range of health and beauty treatments. You can also head to the exclusive Chill Out area on the fourth floor for more relaxation.

In addition, you will find a gym with several organised classes, a hair dressing salon and a boutique. There are also bicycles you can hire to explore the local area.

There is also the Mare Nostrum International Buffet, offering a wide range of flavours. Choose between the 3 à la carte restaurants, serving steak, Asian or Mediterranean cuisine. You can also head to the Windsor Restaurant for a more intimate gourmet meal. During the daytime you can enjoy freshly-pressed juices and healthy, light snacks at Bar Vitamina's. Restaurants and bars are also found beside the swimming pool and down by the beach.
