This romantic seaside hotel promises stunning sea views. For over 350 years Skogshoved has been providing guests with a unique Danish experience. Recent renovations have united past and present. Each guest room is decorated in a light and simple Scandinavian style, with beautiful artwork. Most rooms also offer scenic ocean views.

Surrounded by forests, open fields and historic fishermen's cottages, Skovshoved Hotel is close to the royal hunting grounds of Dyrehaven that date back to 1670. These areas can be explored on foot, by bicycle or in a horse-drawn carriage and the nature reserve is populated with a rich selection of wildlife, including large herds of wild deer.

For the past 3 years the in-house Restaurant Skovshoved has been recommended by the Michelin Guide. This elegant restaurant serves classic dishes inspired by traditional Mediterranean cuisine. During summer guests can dine on the open terrace offering views over the nearby quaint thatched-roof houses.

• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged DKK 250.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged DKK 250.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 3.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
