The hotel consists of 2 buildings. The historical and traditional part of the hotel was formerly a sailors' quarters. It is now decorated in typical Hamburg style, and features maritime antiques from all over the world.

The second building, named the Residenz, has a more modern style and features a separate entrance, a reception team and a breakfast room.
