Built between 1881 and 1883, the motel was completely renovated in 2006, preserving its authentic style. The building is of great cultural and historic importance.

The Motel Latinski Most is only 15 metres from the Latin Bridge, after which it is named - the site of the assassination in 1914 of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and his wife Sophie.

All city monuments, such as the Bascarsija, the Town Hall, the Emperor's Bridge, the Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque, the Old Orthodox Church and the Museum of the City of Sarajevo are about 50 metres away.
