The sea at North Bornholm is only a few metres from Hotel Friheden and this is an ideal place for guests to take in the beautiful rock formations while sitting or walking on the sandy beach. Early risers will appreciate the striking sunrise.

The 44 guest rooms a furnished terrace and guests receive free access to indoor swimming pool and sauna. Two 18 hole golf courses and a 9 whole pay and play golf course are within just 7 km of the hotel. Hotel Friheden offers a bike rental facility which is a very popular way of exploring the area.

The privately run spa centre offers massage, acupuncture, reflex therapy and beauty treatments.

The restaurant offers panoramic views of the Baltic Sea and the à la carte menu combines Danish, French, Italian and Scandinavian influences.

• Deposit: No deposit will be charged.
• Internet: Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable.
• Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.
• Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.
• Extra Charges: 25 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged DKK 200.00 per night and person for cots. All children under 13 years are charged DKK 100.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged DKK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Guests arriving after 17.00 are kindly requested to contact the hotel in advance. Please note that the spa centre, indoor swimming pool and sauna are closed each year from mid October to Easter.
