Crow How Country Guest House, Ambleside - Hotel Description
In a stunning rural setting in the historic Rydal Valley amidst the fells, this grand Victorian building dates back to 1848.
Crow How was built as a farm house in 1848 from the stones of ancient Rydal Hall. It was then converted into a country guest house in the early 1930s.
Crow How has been carefully renovated to provide you with a well-located Ambleside bed and breakfast, ideal for exploring the the beautiful Lake District.
Crow How has central heating throughout, to ensure you remain warm in the coldest of weathers. We have two lounges for the guests use, a drying room and downstairs loo along with a spacious dining area.
The main lounge has a wood burning stove that is lit when we are serving dinner in the winter months. We are fully licensed should you require any drinks.
The lounge areas and bedrooms have access to wi fi.
Our bedrooms are located off the second floor with most rooms having no shared walls. This makes for a quieter stay with us.
We have over 2 acres of woodland garden for the guests use, with seating areas. There is private parking at the front of the hotel.
