Villa Maria - Hotel description

Just 70 metres from Toroni’s sandy beach, Villa Maria offers a lovely courtyard with BBQ and sea-view terrace. Accommodation is self-catered and comes with balcony with sea and garden views.

The air-conditioned rooms have a satellite TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. The bathroom has a 24-hour hot water shower, and a welcome bathroom kit is provided. Laundry and ironing service are available.

Blue Café is open from early morning serving breakfast, snacks and ice creams, as well as local drinks and cocktails. Free Wi-Fi, a large-screen TV and gaming consoles are available here. You can also enjoy your coffee on the beach, where free sun beds are provided.

The area offers opportunities for trekking, fishing and water sports. You can also arrange to rent a car, bike or bicycle through Villa Maria to explore the surrounding areas. Free private parking is provided.

  The owners are really friendly. The studio/appartement was very spacious with nice terrace, the beach is very close. Tasty breakfast.

  Strange smell in the bathroom, the sliding door was brocken.

  The room was horrible: -there was not really a window (the door was actually window), -the terrace was a corridor where all other guests were passing all the time and looking into our room, -inside the room smelt bad, in summary we had reservation for 3 days, but left after the first night (this is beacause we arrived late in the evening), because of the bad conditions. We were charged the ammount for the three nights.

  Located in the middle of Toroni,a contryside with a lot of vegetation and tranquility,Villa Maria got a wonderful view of the sea on one side and of the mountains on the other side.So much peace! Only the birds' singing and the cicadas' sound. The owners and all staff were very friendly and...very important in Greece,they speak English. A large room.A very large balcony with a great vista.The kitchenette well equipped. Cleaning OK. Ratio price-sevices-quality was quite good.

  Small deficiencies of plumbing. The toilet discharge systems weren't pleasant in the morning. Wireless didn't work for the most part of the time (but that wasn't a bad thing ,after all) An isolated place has also inconveniences,not just benefits.

  Super friendly wonderful hosts; good location near the beach and the beautiful sunset 'bulevard'; bakery on the front side where one can get tasty breakfast and pizza's; great restauranst in the neighbourhood.

  The whole hotel is kind of kichy 'old timer' what was not obvious from the foto's and a bit disappointing. No garden. Our friends room was small for 4 people. Hotel is known as family hotel with lots of kids....great and joyful but noisy. Toroni has a general canalisation problem what makes it often a smelly place. Toroni didn't seem the greates place on Halkidiki; that made us driving and visiting other 'carribean' -looking beaches all over the peninsula.

  Nice staff and very responsive. Good location next to the beach. Car parking is nearby. Dog friendly hotel.

  The room for us was not available initially, so we spent one day in a miserable room in a nearby location. We had ants in that room, and the bathroom smelled bad. They have probably overbooked the hotel, but it's not our problem. Our new room was not cleaned regularly, unless we requested this explicitly, which was 2 times for 1 week. Not even collecting the garbage from the trash bins. If you go with a dog, don't believe that the Toroni beach is ok for dogs. You should look for beaches with less people to not have problems. No forced ventilation in the bathroom. I was shocked to see that the smoke absorber in the kitchenette is not connected to any pipes but just blows directly upwards inside the cupboard. Tap water smells bad, but that's valid for the whole peninsula area.

  The owners are fabulous, the room are clean, the kitchen is very big and the sea is very very close. The price is ridiculous compared to the services offered.

  If you want to be very very critic, the only problem come form the water which is not drinkable... but 12 liter of water costs less than 2 euro!

  Very, very nice hosts, possibly the best place in Toroni, near the beach, with parking in the shade. I recommend the Villa Maria for young couples with or without kids. No issues whatsoever! Best regards to Despina and Mario if they're reading this!

  Absolutely amazing vila - the best of all we tried in Chalkidiki! Very nice apartments, clean rooms and beautiful terasa with sea view. Beach and local tavernas are very close to vila. We enjoyed free sunbeds in the beautiful beach. We are sure that everybody will like it.

  Very friendly and helpful owners. Very nice cafe on the ground flor with delicious piza, ice-cream, coffee. Nice place for barbecue. Very stylish hotel. Quite close to the beach and supermarket.

  Rooms are clean and tidy. There is a wide terrace overlooking the sea and sunset! The atmosphere in the hotel is traditional greek and it is so beautifully. Staff is very kind and makes you feel at home. The region of Toroni has so exotic beaches, so you will think it is not real. It is really very good place for your journey. We had lovely time in Villa Maria!

  I gestori di Villa Maria gestiscono anche una anonima domatia cui siamo stati assegnati. Peccato che questo non viene specificato alla prenotazione. Quindi siamo rimasti delusi. Noi non avremmo mai scelto una domatia..

  κοντα στη θάλασσα,ξαπλωστρες, ευγενικοι και γενναιοδωροι ιδιοκτητες, ευχαριστη ατμοσφαιρα ,καθαρο και ανακαινισμενο μπανιο,ευρυχωρα μπαλκονια και κοινοχρηστοι χωροι.

  ανεπαρκης καθαριοτητα (εκτος του μπανιου), υπαρχουν δωματια διαφόρων κατηγοριων σε ποιοτητα, το ιντερνετ δεν πιανει σε ολους τους χώρους και στην συγκεκριμενη τιμη θα επρεπε να συμπεριλαμβανει πρωινο.

  Atmosfera familiare, il proprietario e'gentile e disponibile. Camera molto ampia con terrazzino vista mare,pulita semplice ma confortevole. E'presente un piccolo bar per la colazione. Ottimo rapporto qualita'prezzo.

  Amplasarea hotelului si panorama oferite de camera de la etajul doi unde am stat, plaja minunata, fundul marii fara pietre si faptul ca exista sezlonguri gratuite, pret corect, amabilitate gazde si personal. Intr-o oarecare masura si salbaticia zonei poate ajuta la relaxare in vacanta. Placintele de la bar, freshul de portocale sunt minunate dimineata. Multumim!

  Toroni este o localitate prea izolata pentru gustul nostru. Mancarea la restaurantele din zona nu ne-au placut (exceptie facand placintele de la barul vilei si mancarea oferita de terasa "FLORA"), faptul ca proprietarii de restaurante nu se comporta prea bine cu oaspetii in comparatie cu anii trecuti.

  Bijzonder vriendelijke eigenaars die zich goed in het Engels uitdrukken, zeer behulpzame mensen. Je voelt je er onmiddellijk thuis als gast. Het appartement is ruim, met airco in alle kamers. Vlak bij de kust en leuke restaurants, maar toch rustig gelegen. Makkelijk is het café er aan verbonden waar je ook ontbijt kan nemen of iets kan drinken.

  Sommige kamers zijn nogal gehorig. Als echt appartement is het niet volledig uitgerust, er was bijvoorbeeld geen bestek aanwezig.
