In the picturesque coastal village of Breiðdalsvík is Hotel Blafell. Enjoy spectacular sea views, surrounded by the peaks and cliffs of one of Iceland's most beautiful mountain ranges.

The Breiðidalur area is known for its nice weather and the numerous walking paths available. Go rock-collecting amongst the beautiful hyalite formations in the south of the valley, or fishing in one of 3 surrounding rivers.

Afterwards, relax in the sauna and round off the evening by the fireplace in the sitting room, or take a short walk to the nearby swimming pool, which is equipped with a hot tub.

Hotel Blafell has single, double/twin, triple and family rooms, all of them with a private bathroom, TV and phone.

The restaurant at Hotel Blafell serves traditional Icelandic lunch and dinner in the summer months.
