This traditional hotel enjoys a central location in the Bavarian town of Chieming, and is just a 5-minute walk from the shores of Lake Chiemsee.

Dating back to 1863, the Gasthof zur Post Oberwirt offers a long tradition of hospitality and Bavarian cuisine.

Enjoy traditional German specialities in the rustic restaurant. You can order à la carte or choose from a selection of daily and weekly specials.

All rooms in the Oberwirt were fully renovated in 2007 and feature cherry wood furniture and modern amenities such as a flat-screen satellite TV. The suites are furnished like the double rooms, but also offer a bathtub and a second washbasin.

The Austrian border is only a short drive from the Gasthof zur Post. There are many free parking spaces in front of the hotel.

The Gasthof zur Post can be used to host corporate functions or family celebrations, either in the restaurant or in the Posthornstüberl or Fischerstüberl lounges.
