This family-run guest house is centrally located in the popular Bavarian mountain village of Reit im Winkl in the Chiemgau Alps, close to the Austrian border.

The Gästehaus Sonnenzeit offers comfortable rooms with a private balcony and all modern amenities, including cable TV and free wireless internet access.

The breakfast room and lounge features a cosy fireplace for those cold winter days.

In the lounge, you can enjoy a selection of drinks on a self-service basis. The lounge opens on to a terrace in the summer from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Chiemgau Alps.

Gästehaus Sonnenzeit makes an ideal base for leisure activities all year round. Depending on the season, you can go cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hiking or cycling.

It is also an excellent starting point for exploring the many tourist attractions in southern Bavaria and nearby Austria.

Your hosts, who speak fluent English, will gladly give you tips and advice on the area, as well as recommendations for the nearby restaurants.

Gästehaus Sonnenzeit is located at the foot of the south-facing Hausberg mountain, just a 2 minute walk from the town centre. This makes it both quiet and central.

All guests staying at Gästehaus Sonnenzeit may use the local swimming pools free of charge. These include the Reit im Winkl indoor pool and outdoor solar-heated pool with a 105-metre slide, an outdoor pool in nearby Kössen, and the Walchsee (lake) in the summer.

• Extra Charges: 19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.75 city/tourist tax per person per night is included.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. One child under 6 years is charged 25 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. One child from 7 to 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. One older child or adult is charged EUR 12.00 per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
