October 11, 2011From the airport take the shuttle bus which will take you directly to the hotel and back - all for 20 euros. Buses are clean and comfortable. Room was nice, and view at the river just stunning. But carefull - there are trees in front of the hotel, so I expect below 3rd floor, you will not see much. There is wonderful restaurant in the hotel, we enjoyed the meal and interior design a lot. Staff super friendly. Localization perfect. Maybe not in the very center, but 15 minutes walk in such a wonderful landscape is exactly what we need after all day of sightseeing and shopping. We didnt have tea and coffee facilities in our room, but I called reception and it was delivered immediately. Internet was working very good. If you enjoy good restaurant and looking for a place to have dinner, a must is boom & brass, amazing place I would reccomend for everybody. In the very heart if Pest, near famous Vici street.
15 euro for breakfast per person in expensive, we ordered french and english breakfast to the room and we actually paid 15 euros for both! So surprisingly its cheaper to order the meal to the room. I dont consider this a negative, but rather as a tip for others guests :)

April 21, 2011The position and views from the room are fantastic. Easy access to all parts of Budapest via the trams. Walking distance to Castle area, Fisherman's Bastion and Chain Bridge. Staff very helpful and room spacious.
The room could have more storage facilities for clothing etc. Not one draw available. The facility to check your bill on-screen in the room was handy as we were able to challenge being charged extra for breakfast that was supposed to be included. The reception staff corrected the error.

March 8, 2011The hotel could really be classified as stylish design hotel - I just loved Sultan's exhibition there with his painting all over the place. Except a little miscommunication between the reception's staff during our check-in (resolved quickly with a free upgrade of the room), everything was just fine and the staff are really guest-oriented :) I would definitely make a reservation for this hotel again if i am to travel to Budapest.
Before staying there buy map for the metro since without it you would decide the hotel is not so close to the city center (of Pest), whilst the metro station is 2 min by foot and if you use the metro network you could get to almost every point of the city ;)

January 28, 2012The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is very convenient. Our room was large with a great night view on the Parliament. Furniture was clean and new, the bathroom was very good and well equipped. The restaurant downstairs has a very nice design.
The breakfast offered was too expensive: there are many nice cafes and small restaurant in the area for lower price.

January 7, 2012The hotel is great. In a very good location with view (my room) to pest side of Budapest along the Danube river. I really appreciate the stay, the staff is friendly and always tried to help me when I needed. The cleaness is also good and the conditions of the facilities are in a good way. Congratulations.
The wireless Internet is too lazy. It should be improved.

January 3, 2012Large, comfortable rooms with modern design aesthetic. Very friendly and helpful staff.
People are allowed to smoke in the bar area adjacent to reception which is hard for a non-smoker to avoid. Would be good to have breakfast included in the room price rather than an extra.

December 14, 2011I had a great stay and when I checked in, was welcomed with an upgrade to a suite with a river view! The hotel is close to the metro and tram lines. A stone's throw from the Chain Bridge and the Margit Bridge. Moskva Ter is a 10 minute walk away. A stunning view of Parliament changed as the daylight came and went. The hotel staff is professional and very helpful. Three computers are available in the lobby. The ambiance is relaxed. Köszönöm art'otel! Side note: I rarely eat breakfast in a hotel and found Baldaszti to be a perfect solution. It is a new café/restaurant at Lánchíd u. 7-9, which is steps away from the Chain Bridge and roundabout on the Buda side. It is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Delicious and plentiful breakfast choices.

November 26, 2011The location was great, and the view from the hotel room to the parliament building at the opposite site of the Danube river was impressive. nice, modern design, service-oriented staff tasteful breakfast with many options
I had big problems with the airconditioning in room 724, and therefore did not sleep well during my three days business trip to Budapest. There was a very high temperature in the room day and night, and it was not possible to regulate it with the thermostat in the room. The only option was to switch off the heat and open the window, even with minus seven degrees outside during nights.

November 12, 2011The location is amazing. Directly opposite the Hungarian Parliament building on the banks of the Danube. Stunning views. Comforable and stylish - art is interesting. Breakfast v good, though was extra on the tariff we paid.
Staff a little unsmiling and abrupt at times, but very efficient.

October 25, 2011This Hotel is right on the Danube at a tram stop, on city tour bus, and Danube cruise stops, walking distance from the Metro, a good supermarket, the Funicular, and all bus stops! The staff were fantastically helpful and non intrusive. After walking around the castle district we could walk down the stairs to our hotel, and wander up in the evening to fairytale views. Wow!!!

October 7, 2011Location.
Third or forth visit to this hotel, we love the city. However, staff seems a bit aloof and unfriendly. Upon arrival when we ask for the parliament view....ended up with out the requested balcony. When we kindly ask to be moved to a room with a balcony were put on the first floor in the center of the noisy trams, taxis, and mortar way traffic. Thought for a moment after spending several thousand euros may have come with the thought of a slight ungraded to a room you could actually sleep and enjoy the amazing view. Apparently not.....this will be our last visit. In today's market....much more available for the money.

September 12, 2011Excellent hotel. The art everywhere was black and white and not very good but the hotel was fun to stay in, well designed, comfortable. It's in an excellent location: the castle is above, a short walk takes you over the Chain Bridge into Pest. The view of the Danube from our room was supurb, the double glazing blocked out the traffic along the bank completely. The breakfast was supurb.
It is pricey but for a treat, worth it.

Great location, large rooms with a good view. Friendly staff who were helpful.
Free wifi is a pain as you had to go to reception everyday for new log in details and only one device can be connected as it's then locked to the device you first log in with. No kettle in the room so make sure you bring one or buy one if you want a brew. The prices of items in the fridge were blatantly expensive, £6 for a can of Red Bull and on the first night we went to the bar and 2 Local largers came to £15 which is unbelievable! The location was great and the room was nice but you did get the impression the hotel wanted to rip you off at every oputunity,
