A short drive will take you into the lovely countryside of Wales, and it takes only 35 minutes to drive to Manchester. Chester Zoo is minutes away so is Ellesmere Port with its Boat Museum and Market, also Cheshire Oaks Designing Outlet Village, all well worth visiting.
