By Air From Gatwick Airport (28 miles south): - Take the Gatwick Express train to London Victoria Station (30 minutes). - From Victoria Underground Station, take the District Lane to Aldgate East Station. - Exit the station, following the underground directions for Whitechapel Art Gallery. - Once at street level, turn left out of the station. - Turn left again into Osborn Street. - The City Hotel London is just 20 metres further ahead on the right-hand side. From Heathrow Airport (15 miles west): - Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station. - Change onto the Hammersmith & City underground line to Aldgate Station. - Then, as above. From Stansted Airport (40 miles north): - Take the Stansted Express train to Liverpool Street Atation. - From here change onto the Hammersmith & City Underground line to Aldgate East Station. - Then, as above. From London City Airport: - Take the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) to Tower Gateway. - Take the District line to Aldgate East station (one stop). - Then, as above.
