Only 800 metres away from Lake Achen and 100 metres from the valley station of the Christlum ski lifts, the Achentalerhof offers an ideal location for all sports and leisure activities in summer and winter alike.

This cosy 4-star hotel is located on the sunny side of Achenkirch, adjacent to the Karwendel Nature Reserve and surrounded by a dense network of hiking trails, cross-country ski runs and mountain bike trails.

As a popular hiking hotel, the Achentalerhof offers guided hikes into the beautiful mountains of the Karwendel and Rofan mountains 5 times a week.

In winter the nearby Christlum ski area offers ideal conditions for winter sports. The access to the cross-country ski run is only 150 metres away. Guided snowshoe and winter hikes are offered at least 3 times a week. The hotel has its own ski school and ski rental.

Enjoy the afternoon and evening sun at the hotels south-facing panorama terrace in winter and summer alike.

The new indoor pool has direct access to the 2,000 m² park-like garden. The new spa area features 2 saunas (60° and 90°), a steam bath, a solarium, an infrared cabin, waterfall showers, and a large relaxation room.

Events such as music evenings or fashion shows are hosted in the lobby every week. You can enjoy film and video evenings in the hotels small cinema, equipped with a beamer and a Dolby Surround system.

The Achentalerhof serves traditional delights as well as light cuisine and creative specialities. Aromatic herbs from the hotels garden flavour the excellent dishes of the Austrian and international gourmet cuisine. Most products come from local farms. In the morning a rich breakfast buffet with organic corner is offered. In the afternoon you can enjoy light snacks. In the evening a 4-course meal with a big salad buffet and a choice of 3 main courses awaits you. Barbecue and fondue evenings are hosted regularly. Weekly gourmet buffets and festive gala dinners with music are also offered. All this, as well as a welcome cocktail, is included in the price. There are 2 weekly wine tastings in the new vinotheque. On Mondays Austrian and international white wines are presented, while on Thursdays it is the red wines turn. The owner is a certified sommelier and is happy to recommend the suitable wine for every meal.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of the first night will be charged.

There are hourly free transfers by public bus from Jenbach train station (just show your booking confirmation). Follow the "Busterminal" signs. Transfers by hotel bus are available at an extra cost. Transfers are available on request from the airports at Munich, Innsbruck and Salzburg.
