In Cwmbran and within easy reach of Newport and the M4 motorway, the Parkway Hotel has a 4-star rating from the AA. Situated over 2 floors, all of the rooms were fully refurbished in 2006 and 2007. Beautifully furnished, the rooms have oversized beds, plush carpets and marble en suite bathrooms. Each room has a TV, an in-room safe, tea/coffee making facilities, luxury toiletries and soft, fluffy bathrobes.

Ravello's Restaurant offers an à la carte menu of European dishes, made using fresh, local produce. The traditional carvery has also proved popular, as have the hotel's coffee shop and bar.

The superb leisure facilities include the deck-level heated indoor pool, a steam room, a sauna, a spa bath and a solarium.

All guests have complimentary and unlimited use of the hotel's exclusive private members club throughout their stay. The club was designed along the lines of the grand colonial hotels of the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The facilities include a fully equipped gymnasium, a sunbathing patio and a relaxation area, as well as the pool.The Promenade Cafe Bar is open throughout the day and serves light meals, cool drinks, hot beverages, sandwiches, baguettes and wraps. The deluxe changing areas were completely refurbished in 2007 and boast luxury marble fittings.

The Parkway Hotel is privately owned and personally managed by John and Alison Woodcock.
