Voted Brighton's Favourite Hotel 2009 in the annual Golden Handbag Awards, the Amsterdam Hotel offers a selection of large, newly decorated rooms to suit all budgets. Stylish, modern and sophisticated, all of the rooms have large en suite walk-in shower rooms and LCD flat-screen TVs with Freeview digital channels. Some rooms have stunning views over Brighton's famous pier, the beach and the seafront.

Light and airy, the stylish and contemporary bar was completely refurbished in 2005. Looking out to sea, the bar has a large outdoor terrace, a big-screen music video system and free Wi-Fi.

In the heart of Brighton's vibrant scene, the hotel is close to all of the amazing restaurants, friendly bars, theatres, shops and, of course, the exciting nightlife.

Voted Brighton's Favourite Sauna for 2008 at the annual Golden Handbag Awards ceremony, the Amsterdam Sauna offers a large, men-only sauna and steam room, a chill-out area with exercise machines and a flat-screen LCD TV. There are also additional relaxation rooms and showers.

The hotel has a brand-new lift, offering easy access to all floors.

The hotel does not have a car park, but 24-hour parking permits for on-street parking in the area around the hotel are available from reception at an additional cost.

A continental breakfast is served from 08:30 to 10:00 (and until 11:00 on Sundays). A freshly cooked English breakfast is available at a small additional cost in the restaurant until 11:00. Lunches and dinners are available from 11:00 until 19:00. The freshly cooked food ranges from light bites to 3-course meals and includes a range of vegetarian dishes, all prepared on site by the hotel's experienced chefs. The sea-facing bar is open until late and room service offers drinks and snacks 24 hours a day.
