In London's fashionable Knightsbridge, this elegant town house is an award-winning 5-star hotel offering luxurious air-conditioned rooms and a gourmet French restaurant with 2 Michelin stars.

Just metres from Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Sloane Street and Hyde Park, and within easy reach of the West End, the Capital has one of the most prestigious locations in London.

All of the beautiful, elegant rooms are individually designed and traditionally decorated with original art and antique furniture. All suites and double rooms have handmade super-king-size beds from Savoir with hand-stitched mattresses and the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen.

Beside each bed, there is a console controlling the lighting, the radio and the interactive TV system with satellite channels. The marble bathrooms have large baths, powerful showers and luxurious bathrobes and toiletries.

As well as the award-winning restaurant and superb bar, the hotel offers traditional English afternoon teas with homemade pastries, scones and jams.

On arrival you will be greeted by a doorman before being shown to your room. If you need anything during your stay, from theatre tickets and restaurant bookings to travel arrangements, the Concierge will be more than happy to oblige.

Under the direction of Chef Eric Chavot, The Capital Restaurant has an enviable reputation for excellence, gaining 2 Michelin stars. It serves French cuisine for lunch and dinner each day (additional cost). Meals in the restaurant are accompanied by a varied wine list, including labels from The Capital's own vineyard, 'The Levin Winery' in the Loire Valley, France. Afternoon tea is served daily in The Sitting Room between 15:00 and 17:30. Enjoy homemade pastries, scones and delicious jams made by the hotel's Pastry Chef, Andrew Gravett (booking required, additional cost). For moments of relaxation you can head to The Capital Bar and enjoy the finest selection of cocktails from champagne to vodka, cognac and whisky. The Capital Bar's interior design is inspired by the famous Harry's Bar in Venice.
