By Car (from the York outer ring road): - From the ring road, approach the city centre on the A19 from the northwest. - On reaching the city centre, the Churchill Hotel is on the left-hand side, approximately 200 metres after passing the ornate St Peter's School on the right. By Train: York train station is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the hotel. You can enjoy the pleasant walk over the river and by the city walls. Alternatively, taxis are readily available from just outside the station. By Air: Airport transfers in the hotel's Bentley are available by prior arrangement and at an additional cost.
