This traditional, newly renovated family inn is located in the heart of Peter Roseggers "Waldheimat" (Forest Home) in Upper Styria, surrounded by the densely wooded landscape of the Fischbach Alps.

The Roseggerhof offers new, tastefully furnished rooms, cosy lounges, the Rosegger Library, a children's playground and a ping pong table.

Enjoy hearty, traditional dishes as well as light meals in the restaurant. Children's meals and special diets are also served. Special health meals are available on request. The homemade strudels are especially popular.

The home of Peter Rosegger, the popular 19th-century Styrian poet, offers many cultural attractions as well as sports and leisure options.

2 ski areas are in the immediate vicinity of Roseggerhof. In winter cross-country skiing, curling, horse-drawn sleigh rides and snowshoe hiking are available, while in summer you can enjoy hiking, Nordic walking and cycling.

• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 6 to 12 years are charged EUR 17.00 per night and person for extra beds. All children from 12 to 16 years are charged EUR 24.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, 10 percent of the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first two nights will be charged.
