The hotel is situated in the old commercial quarter, where craftsmen used to ply their trade, adjacent to the city centre. The Duomo and the city's squares, teeming with restaurants, cafes and people, are just a short tram ride away.

The hotel was built in the early 1900s.

Thanks to a recent renovation all floors of the hotel are served by a lift.
