Originally built in 1851, this charming Victorian building is now a privately owned 4-star guest house offering free Wi-Fi, free parking and comfortable en suite rooms in Southsea's town centre.

In a quiet, peaceful location, Upper Mount House is close to all that Portsmouth and Southsea have to offer. The house was designed by famous local architect Thomas Owen, known locally as "Thomas Owen Southsea."

Your host, Wayne Mitchell, served in the Royal Navy for 24 years, 9 of which he served on the Royal Yacht Britannia. Upper Mount House is now benefiting from Britannia's prestigious standards, with high quality personal service and a quiet, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Each of the en suite rooms is light, spacious and furnished to a high standard. All rooms have tea/coffee, hairdryers, telephones and TVs with 14 Freeview digital channels.

There is a large private car park.
