Los Amigos Beach Club - Hotel description

Los Amigos Beach Club is situated in Mijas Costa, 300 metres from the beach. This complex features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and apartments and studios with balconies.

The Club offers simple, modern design and all accommodation is spacious and well equipped. Apartments and studios feature seating areas with satellite TV and kitchens include a microwave, fridge and hob. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property, at an additional cost.

Las Casitas restaurant has a range of Mediterranean cuisine on offer and guests can enjoy a drink in the complex’s bar.

The club has a range of activities on offer, including sports such as tennis and mini-golf. There is also a jacuzzi and indoor pool. There are a range of watersports available at the nearby beaches.

  Lovely apartment with all the extras too. Even a dishwasher in the kitchen. A great base if you have a car.

  The map point on the map isnt actually where the hotel is. On the map, the hotel is actually in La Cala itself, although it is a 5 minute drive outside La Cala.

  Every thing the hotel is 5 star because of the location 5min from a nice beach 15 mins from the town centre by bus the staff are exceptional from all levels of work nothing is to much trouble. Arived 3 hours before check in no problem gave us a studio room the standard of the room again 5 star, 2 pools 1 set in among lawns and olive trees.would recomend this hotel to any one. M&c York

  Clean rooms

  The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and a car was a necessity, the pool was closed, the beach was dirty as was the access to the beach.

  We enjoyed the location - close to beach and several restaurants. Not far by car to some interesting places to visit. Rooms were well equipped with everything one could need for self catering - even a washing machine!

  Very well equiped kichen and nice room. Pool area also was ok. In general good hotel but car is a must. Free parking .

  We were charged for electricity additionally without any notice. Dirty beach .

  Very spacious for 2 people in the 4 bed appt. If using bed settee may be more squeezy. Excellent facilities and could easily have spent a week there. Balcony for evenings was lovely. All mod cons in kitchen and would be excellent for a family of 4. Lovely pool, staffed up to 8pm. Good value for money.

  It should really be advertised as appartment as it is just that.

  Good equiped 1 bedroom apartment, very good equiped kitchen, big balcony. There are minimarket and several restourants in the hotel ( club ) , located near the beach - we very liked to stay in this club.

  The indoor swimming pool was out of function.

  This was our third visit to LABC all of which have been really enjoyable. The friendliness and competence of the staff is a feature of the resort...special mention is deserved by Selina, a member of the animation team who has the happy knack of encouraging reluctant 70+ year olds to participate along with youngsters in a range of activities.

  The on site restaurant seemed rather expensive for the very ordinary quality of the food and the below average service in the evenings... nevertheless the standard of evening entertainment was quite good.

  We have just returned from a third enjoyable and relaxing holiday in Los Amigos Beach Club. The apartment was very spacious - had two flat screen TVs, ipod docking station, washing machine, dishwasher, two bathrooms and two balconys. The Reception Staff were excellent. We hired a car at the airport so distance wasn't a problem and we were able to explore the local area and mountain villages to enjoy the real Spanish atmosphere

  Very well equiped, with all necessary. Great lazer area, pool, tennis courts, mini-golf, etc... Next to the beach (100 m).

  With no notice the hotel charge electricity at the check-out. Is hard ti get there once the location (GPS) is not correct. The beach near the hotel is not so great (very small and durty). Impossible to block the sun into the room, the curtains are transparent.

  Fantastic time at Los Amigos. Apartments were first class with all mod cons provided and plenty of space for a family of 4. Swimming pools were excellent though preferred the quieter pool at the rear of the complex. La Casitas was excellent restaurant although on the slow side for service, but evening entertainment excellent - especially Tuesday night!

  the apartment had a double bed and a washing machine, was well equiped

  building works, no facilities, outdoor pool was fenced off and not allowed to use it, tiny indoor pool, no resturant, needed to use the car to get anywhere as the resort is in the middle of nowhere.

  Good pools, nice area.

  This was our second stay at this hotel. Our two bedroom appartment was placed over the restaurant. I was band playing very load so it was impossible to sleep untill 23.40 every night... Varning for this apartments

  The Hotel was very clean and offered all facilities you would expect.

  Slightly out of peak season, minor criticisms are that during a 3 night stay there was no maid service, no clean towels, and there appeared a lack of staff to facilitate certain areas of the complex, ie the poolside bar remained closed during a very hot day around the pool

  We liked it very much. There were constructions works during our stay. And our appartment was too close to the night cafe. We claimed that it was too noisy for a small child. The staff was friendly enough and moved us quickly with no problems to a new apartment (our best regards to Jose) The location of the second apartment was excellent. It is better to have a car if you choose the Amigos Hotel. We didn't like the food in the local restaurant. Actually we didn't like food in all restaurants there. And prefered to buy products in Eroski and cook at home. The quality of the local products are very high. The beach close to the hotel was very isolated and a bit wild. But there were no massage, no sun glasses and fake watches black sellers. This was a big advantage.
