Opposite Wales' most beautiful waterfall, 3.2 km (2 miles) outside of Betws-y-Coed, this hotel combines the classic quality of a Victorian coaching house with the relaxed ambience of a modern establishment.

Recently refurbished, the spacious rooms all offer en suite facilities, with most benefiting from panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

The dog-friendly hotel has a traditional pub serving fine ales, while the Tavern Cafe serves lunches and snacks throughout the day. The restaurant serves evening meals, and tables should be booked in advance.

Swallow Falls Hotel was built in the last century to take advantage of the local views, as well as the proximity to the now famous Swallow Falls.

Traditional pub, hotel bar and tavern cafe all serve food at reasonable prices. There is a wide choice of places to enjoy a meal and drink, with opportunities to sit outside in summer, and take advantage of the beautifully landscaped gardens, which include an adventure playground for children. The restaurant is open from March to October. The Fudge Shop, where the hotel makes its own fudge, is a temptation not to be missed.
