Situated in the heart of beautiful Mid-Wales between Newtown and Machynlleth. This 17th century Inn offers a warm welcome to travelers and locals alike.

Peter & Jenny Canning and their staff look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful, yet little known, part of Wales. We have three bars and offer a wide selection of beers, lagers, and ciders as well as a varied range of quality home cooked meals to cater all tastes. All of our letting rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard with spacious en-suite shower rooms throughout.

If coming from the North or West, we are on the right, just before you leave the village. If coming from the South or East, we are on the left, 150 yards after the 'Carno' sign.
