The Seeblick Hotel was rebuilt in 1891 and has been used as a guesthouse and hotel since that time. We consider ourselves to be a family-run business with a long-standing tradition, as the hotel has been owned by the Sailer and Lütjohann family for three generations, spanning 75 years.

The hotel is situated in the attractive and peaceful village of Bernried by Lake Starnberg (approx. 50 kilometres south of Munich). Bernried was voted the most attractive village in Bavaria several years ago and again in 2006.

The hotel used to be a holiday residence for princes and barons, but is now both a popular hotel for holiday-makers and an excellent venue for conferences.

Let our culinary delights tickle your palate, relax in our swimming pool and sauna area, and enjoy an evening of entertainment in our hotel bar, the "Augustiner Klause", or a bowling game.

Our swimming pool was rebuilt in 2001 and is an oasis of tranquillity and relaxation. We offer a large pool with integrated whirlpool, a sauna landscape and a solarium. The swimming pool and sauna can be used free of charge by hotel guests.

We also offer an infrared fitness and health cabin, which constitutes a healthy alternative to traditional saunas. Special deep heat is not damaging to the health.

Since a few months, we have worked together with a local masseuse and beauty specialist who visits guests at the hotel upon appointment.

Six conference rooms of differing size and rooms for group work provide enough space for almost every kind of conference. The seating in the rooms is flexible and can be arranged to meet your needs. A meal in our restaurant is a must when staying in Bernried. Our restaurant's friendly and welcoming service and top cuisine is well-known thanks to its popularity among our guests and "regulars". We are happy to make recommendations and give advice, regardless whether you are trying to decide what to eat or which wine would best suit your meal. Our specials menu changes every month and offers a selection of seasonal dishes. We have also put together an interesting children's menu for younger visitors. Our kitchen is well known and highly valued for its lavish buffets, Bavarian specialities and individual menus. We would like to recommend our services when it comes to organising the following events: Birthday parties, company parties and weddings, all of which can be accommodated regardless whether there are 2 or 200 people coming to celebrate. At the hotel's own bar "Augustiner Klause" you may enjoy a convivial evening in a rustic ambiance.

• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All children from 2 to 8 years are charged EUR 12.00 per night and person for extra beds. All children from 8 to 12 years are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 38.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
