Along the River Mehaigne, next to the waterfall and the wheel, you will be able to look south over the sight of trout, carp or pike schools or flocks of seasonal birds from the private terrace. A cosily furnished veranda also offers views of the watermill wheel and the nature reserve. The humming of the waterfall has a beneficial effect on your mood and sleep. There are many paths to lead you to discover the charm of the Hesbaye region's countryside or take a bicycle ride. Hannut is 5 km away for easy access to buying provisions and the kitchen is fully-equipped. We can also assist you with planning any excursions to various places of interest.

" The millhouse is in a lovely rural setting and a quiet location, well away from any main roads. We were served an excellent breakfast, but we were surprised that the normal serving time of breakfast was 9.30 am. After discussion with the host we settled on 9.15 am but we gained the impression that any earlier than 9 am would have been an imposition if not an impossibility. The room was badly let down by the cramped toilet/shower-room facilities and the plumbing (i.e. the length of time the water takes to heat, leading to a lot of wasted water). Another disadvantage is that the stairs leading to the room are steep and the banister was loose so we would not recommend this room for anyone who is elderly or has difficulty negotiating steps. We would go back to this hotel, but not to this particular room. "

" I thought that I had booked a hotel not a simple B&B . We had travelled through 7 countries as far as Romania and back stopping at various places and this so-called hotel was the most expensive place that we stayed at and the worst. Having now read other reviews it is clear that our experience was not unique and that the owner has not addressed any of the problems that travellers have had especially regarding the inadequate shower facilities. "
