Located opposite the Ile de Ré and housed in a magnificent 19th-century building, this residence offers comfortable and modern accommodation while preserving the charm of the original architecture.

The Madame Vacances Residence de l'Océan is equipped with a heated outdoor swimming pool, a large terrace-solarium, views of the ocean, and direct access to the beach.

The white buildings and narrow streets give La Tranche-sur-Mer a Mediterranean flavour. The resort of Sud Vendée Atlantique offers 13 km of fine sandy beaches and is ideal for water sports.

Please note that a minimum stay of 7 nights, from Saturday to Saturday, is required.

• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. One child under 2 years is charged EUR 7.00 per night and person in a baby cot. Extra beds are not available. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit: A EUR 260 deposit must be paid at the time of check-in. This amount will be refunded at the time of check out after room inventory has been checked. Services: An additional charge is necessary for sheets, towels, TV, pets, parking, baby cots, baby chairs, cleaning service, end-of-stay cleaning and other extras proposed by the residence.

By Car: From Paris: - Take the A11 'Oceane' motorway to Nantes, then the A83 to Montaigu-La Roche sur Yon-La Tranche sur Mer. From Bordeaux: - Take the A10 'Aquitaine' motorway, and exit at Luçon. - The residence is situated in the centre of the town at the edge of the central beach. By Train: - From train stations La Roche sur Yon or Les Sables d'Olonne, you can take a bus transfer to La Tranche sur Mer. By Plane: The nearest airports are Nantes-Atlantique or La Rochelle-Ile de Ré. There is an airfield at Les Ajoncs-la Roche sur Yon.
