Our family-run hotel is located on the banks of the beautiful lake Hintersee. Framed by the Bavarian Alps, it lies at the entrance to the Berchtesgaden National Park.

This guesthouse is the ideal base for a variety of day trips and hiking tours. Our spacious and lovingly furnished guest rooms offer a view of the mountains and all of the comforts you need in order to completely unwind.

We offer a relaxing and warming infrared cabin and a solarium (fee required), a quiet sunbathing area, barbecue available in the summer . Younger guests can let off steam in our children's playground with swings, slides and a sandpit.

We offer a daily changing menu and a wide range of regional and national dishes, which we serve either in our stylishly furnished restaurant or on our sunny terrace. Specialities include freshly caught trout. Be sure to order a freshly pulled Berchtesgaden beer when ordering one of our hearty Brotzeit meals. Our restaurant will be exclusively non-smoking from 25 December 2007.

• Cancellations: If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
