Situated on top of the southernmost fell in Finnish Lapland and providing rooms with splendid views towards unspoiled nature, forests and lakes, is the Hotel Iso Syöte.

The en-suite guest rooms at Iso Syöte are situated on 2 floors. All have twin beds, tv, telephone, side tables and additional seating. Each room has space for an extra bed if needed and some rooms are suitable for disabled guests. Hotel Iso Syöte also offers comfortable holiday cottages with private sauna for 2 to 8 persons.

The in-house restaurant at Iso Syöte offers panoramic glass windows and both à la carte and buffet options, consisting of tasty delicacies from Finnish and Lappish cuisine. The cosy lobby bar is fully licensed. The Kelo-style ski restaurant Romekievari is located conveniently located close to the slopes and offers delicious pasta, pizza and soups.

At Hotel Iso Syöte all resident guests enjoy complimentary use of the 14 metre swimming pool and 2 spacious single-sex saunas.

The nearby wilderness camp Hanhilampi has a genuine Lappish Kota-tent, a smoke sauna and a private lake.

Located in a triangle formed by the 3 main airports in the area, in Rovaniemi, Oulu and Kuusamo, Iso Syöte is always within easy reach.

The Iso Syöte Safari Company takes guests on adventurous trips to discover the area. In winter guests can try snowmobile tours, ice rally drives, husky and reindeer sledge rides, snowshoe hiking, ice fishing or downhill and cross country skiing straight from the hotel or cottages.

In summer, surrounding nature can be explored through hiking or canoeing on lakes and rivers, taking quad bike tours through the forest, making reindeer or husky farm visits or enjoying open air camp fire dinners under the midnight sun.
