Moraine Lake Lodge features guestrooms and cabins with hand-crafted log furniture and comfortable beds with lavish bedding. After exploring the areas around the lodge on one of the guided hikes, guests can relax in the bathroom's soaking tub. This mountain escape offers no telephones or TVs in any of the room, but a guest phone and internet access is available in the lobby.

The Walter Wilcox Dining at the Moraine Lake Lodge serves fine regional cuisine for breakfast and dinner, reservations are recommended. For more casual dining, guests can enjoy deli foods, snacks and ice cream at the Snowshoe Cafe. Every afternoon, the hotel hosts free tea and coffee in the cozy library.

Deposit: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Children and extra beds: Children older than 8 years are welcome. One child from 8 to 17 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding. One older child or adult is charged CAD 50.00 per night when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 3. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Cancellations: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of CAD 50.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Moraine Lake Lodge - Directions

By Air: The lodge is approximately 225 km from Calgary International Airport. Instructions on driving from Calgary are included below. By Car (from Calgary): Moraine Lake Lodge is in Banff National Park, a pleasant and scenic 2-hour drive west of Calgary. - Follow the Trans Canada Highway 1 out of Calgary for approximately 200 km (120 miles) to Banff National Park. - Take the exit for Lake Louise and continue through the 2 crossroads with stop sign. - Turn left onto Moraine Lake Road and follow this to the end (12 km - approximately 7.5 miles). - From this point, there are signs to help guide you to Moraine Lake.
