This typical Swiss chalet hotel with superb mountain views is located in the heart of Lauterbrunnen, a 3-minute walk from the train station and boasts a bus stop at the front door.

Enjoy the spectacular views of the Jungfrau mountain with the Silberhorn peak plus "Goethe's waterfall", the Staubbach. Furthermore the Hotel Restaurant Schützen AG is situated in the area made famous by Sir Arnold Lunn and James Bond - at the end of the 15 km Schilhorn-Mürren-Lauterbrunnen ski run.

In winter you can almost ski straight into your freshly-made bed! The world-famous 311-metre Staubbach waterfall, which was mentioned in Goethe's poem "Gesang der Geister über den Wassern", can be seen very close to the Schützen AG hotel and offers a unique experience during the summer months.

The hotel Schützen has its own bus stop so you do not even have to walk (3 minutes) to the station, if you do not want to. No other hotel in the village has this advantage. Another advantage are the various possibilities for returning to the hotel. From Grindelwald you can either ski back or take the train. From Mürren it is possible to ski back to the hotel or to take the cable car from Grütschalp or Stechelberg.

Especially in the winter the restaurant with its open fireplace offers a relaxing and homely, typical Swiss atmosphere. In summer you enjoy superb views from the garden terrace towards the mountains. For breakfast you can select from an extensive buffet with many local specialities. In the evening you can either have the 3-course half board menu or choose delicious Swiss dishes à la carte. Breakfast buffet is served from 08:00 - 10:00. Half-board evening meals are served from 18:00 to 20:30.
