  Excellent property located on a beautiful endless stretch of beach. Excellent gym facilities with the opportunity to attend organized classes. Comfortable and very clean rooms. Very friendly and professional staff. La Playa's nearby golf course included a David Leadbetter instructional centre which we signed up for - excellent instructor in Nick Covino. Outstanding food. Valet staff worked tirelessly

  Hated the valet parking concept. No alternative. Made me feel like I had to tip them all the time (we were in and out a lot). We tipped them at the end but I'm sure it didn't work out well for everyone. Very expensive beach drinks (base price + automatic 20% tip). Quite far away from downtown Naples (15 minute drive) but the Mercato was an excellent alternative for night life / dining.

  The location of the hotel is very nice and the pool area is confortable. Also the access to beach is very conveniente.

  The staff in general, we had a situation where it started raining on Saturday afternoon 8/20/2011 and we moved to the Tiki bar, we asked for tea and to guest made fun of the fact that we wanted to drink tea, this is not the issue, the issue was/is that the bar tender there also made fun of us by complementing the joke and making some more. This single situation change the mood for the rest of the stay at your hotel and unfortunately we will not be returning, we just had discover this place is Naples, and now we wont be visiting anymore. I will not be referring your establishment to any of my friends and family members. Hope you can rectify this situation for the sake of other guests. Kind Regards

  Our Gulf-front room was very nice. We could hear the sweet sound of the waves during the night. The beach was very clean and it was not crowded in May.

  If I may mention, we experienced a bad smell as we entered the room every time. It may be due to my sensitivity to cleaning products.

  The service was top notch. The food was excellent as well.

  La Playa needs some work on its room. For the price, I would say the rooms are very outdated. We were in a room that walked right out to the beach.

  Good location, but place is looking tired, pools are not attractive, food is over priced for the quality, jaccuzzi is pathetic, gym is very poor for the price, rooms are ok if they face the water, but bathrooms are awful. Restaurant is good but again over priced and wine list is not great plus wine is not stored at correct temp'S. Hotel needs a face lift, perhaps some lipo' too. But it is hard to beat the location, if nothing else pls improve the service.

  The hotel and staff were excellent. Great view from our room. I will definately stay here again.

  The only restaurant at the hotel is very pricey for the small portions of food that you get. If we do go back we will not be eating at the hotel.

  Excellent location. Spacious and very nice rooms. Incredible view on the sunset. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner has also a terasse on the beach and sunset over the sea in the evening. Mutiple well designed pools. Very nice service from the hotel team.

  Location, beauty of the hotel, the staff, the connection to the outdoors, beach.

  I was really disappointed in the wheeling of the furniture around the hotel--beginning at 7am. It was noisy and took up a lot of space in the public ways & elevators. There should be service elevators fort that kind of work/noise/inconvenience.

  For the price and service level did not match up. Service much better at the Naples Grande. Friendlier staff, easier to get around and use the facilities. Your entrance is really a problem of congestion which I am sure you know and cannot easily change. Your check in staff was average nothing special to note. Valet service was the best part, very nice folks.

  Loved having a complimentary bottle champagne and card in room for our anniversary, gorgeous room with beach/sea view, bed so comfortable! Staff all very helpful and polite, enjoyed a fantastic meal at Baleen enjoyed talking to a lovely host 'Lucas'. Have stayed at hotel a few times and always love our experience, would recommend and will come back!

  Lovely bedrooms, beautiful beach.

  There wasn't always enough hot water for showers. Food, drink, mini-bar are all very expensive. There are very meagre in-room supplies of drinking water and coffee, which is disappointing, given the room rate.

  Really enjoyed our stay at La Playa Beach. Rooms were nice and in romantic style. Kids (12 and 9) loved the swimming pools. Also because they were allowed to play with balls in the pool. Very relax staff and atmosphere. High quality breakfast and dinner. Perfect beach and most beautiful sunset.

  Location, premises were pristine, beautiful beach, room was large, bed was comfortable.

  Food was expensive. There should be more opportunities to get snack food. We have a 13 yo son who is hungry all of the time!

  My husband and I started going to La Playa 3 years ago and have always come back!!! The resort is so relaxing, the staff is amazing and the ocean is just beautiful!!! La Playa is great for families and couples and I recommend La Playa to everyone I know that wants to go visit Naples!!!

  The only complaint we had this year was that the air conditioner in our room was extremely loud and the pillows were too thin. No matter how many pillows we tried using our head would sink to the bottom. This was our first year staying outside of the main tower; next year we will ask to stay in the main tower :)

  This is a full-service resort. We were able to relax with no worries. We loved the beach, the pools, the Tiki Bar, and the on-site restaurant was fantastic. We will definitely visit again!!

  The valet service is extremely slow during dinner time. I would definitely call down early for your car. Also, for some reason it took forever for the water to get hot.
