April 30, 2011The breakfast was the poorest ive ever had at a hotel. Rooms were basic to say the least, decor is very dated. Night staff unfriendly and kept us waiting outside the hotel until they checked if we were even guests at the hotel. I will not be back

January 8, 2011We were at least out of the rain.
The rooms are very noisy generally, probably due to hotel being in an old building. Our first room had no heating that would work. Our second room was very warm but smelt badly of smoke despite requesting a non-smoking room - were later informed all rooms are smoking rooms.

January 24, 2011staff were excellent food also excellent and great value for money convenient to lots of beautiful countryside
i thought general layout of the room was fine and beds bedding and ensuite was spot on however we rquested a smoking room and the decor of the room let it down There were bleach stains on the carpet at the side of the bed the paint was peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom the fabric on the skirting on the bath was coming off and parts of it were quite dusty I know it was a smoking room not sure if this made a difference but in general we enjoyed our stay

January 9, 2011Good location with free car parking. Polite and helpful staff. Good winter deals. Breakfast good.
Bus stop at the front of the Hotel meant that anyone and everyone was walking in and out using the toilets, especially young 'hoodies' which left us feeling uncomfortable if sitting in the lobby. Not a welcoming sight having a lot of people smoking at the front door. Rooms basic and dated. One computer availble for internet which is 7.50 euros per hour and extremely slow. Try shop round corner which is 1 euro for 15 mins.

January 26, 2012We were there as a group of 12 for a hen night, it was grreat for what we needed, it had all the facilities that we wanted on the weekend. Everyone had a superb time
The only thing was that you could hear the music from the nightclub downstairs from our bedroom, but the others didn't hear a thing fromt heir room, it just depended which side of the hotel you were staying

January 6, 2012We booked in for a wedding 30th December and stayed 4 days, the wedding was fabulous and the hotel was excellent.
On New Years Eve, we had a lovely meal in the bar, we went to bed at 10.30 as a very drunken man was pestering us and at one point he was pushing me around (me being a lady), we didnt make a fuss just got out of his way so that spoilt it alittle. He too was a guest.

It was convenient to the festival that was being held in the hotel.
I had requested a non smoking room. When I arrived to the room the first thing I smelt was stale smoke. I rang reception were I was told that all rooms were smoking rooms. I was asked to return from the third floor to reception area where she would get me another room. I got a room on the fourth floor the lift only went to the third floor and had to carry my luggage up a flight of stairs. When I entered the second room there was a slight smell of smoke I was disappointed at this stage and too tired to carry my luggage back down to reception to ask for a third room.
